Why is it worth celebrating Carrot Day?

We admit that we especially enjoy days like today! Today we celebrate one of the most delicious and healthy days of the year – Carrot Day! This vegetable, with its properties and versatile uses, deserves its own holiday like no other!

Carrots, specifically their roots, contain many valuable substances: protein, vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, E, H, K, PP, calcium, iron, iodine, and copper. Carrots are particularly well-known for their high vitamin A content, which supports eyesight. Furthermore, every woman appreciates the positive effect vitamin A has on the skin, helping smooth wrinkles. But carrots offer more than just benefits. Carrots regulate stomach function and help maintain liver health. Vitamins B2 and B6 are involved in the proper functioning of the nervous system, while vitamin K supports skin healing and ensures proper blood clotting. Carrots are also rich in fiber, which improves intestinal peristalsis. Iron, an important component of hemoglobin, is essential for cell regeneration and helps reduce fatigue. Carrots are also low-calorie for those watching their figure.

You can eat carrots raw, fried, or stewed. You can enjoy carrot juice, puree, or preserves, but you can also try something like carrot cake. Below, we present our unique ideas for Carrot Day!

Pizza with a carrot base

1 large carrot
2 eggs (whites and yolks separately)
2 tablespoons of buckwheat flour
spices (as desired)

Grate the carrots using a fine grater. Mix the flour and spices with the egg yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the carrot mixture. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Transfer the carrot mixture to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes. Spread the prepared base with a tablespoon of tomato paste and add your favorite toppings. Bake for another 10 minutes.

Carrot cocktail

2 carrots
2 oranges
250 mg turmeric powder
1 cup of water (250 ml)

Juice two oranges. Wash the carrots and cut them into several smaller pieces, which will make them easier to combine with other ingredients later. Once the carrots are in the blender, add a glass of water, the freshly squeezed orange juice, and a teaspoon of turmeric. Blend everything together until smooth, and then consume it on an empty stomach.


Carrot cake

4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
2 cups grated carrots
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup of vegetable oil
2 cups of spelt flour
1 cup chopped walnuts

Mix the eggs with the sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and baking powder. While mixing, add the oil and flour. Combine the dough with the carrots and finely chopped walnuts, mix, and pour into a lightly greased baking pan. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Bake for about 45 minutes. If you prefer, use a few teaspoons of honey instead of the sugar. The cake can be enjoyed plain or dusted with powdered sugar.

Carrot mask with collagen

2 juicy carrots
1 teaspoon of potato flour
1 teaspoon of Collagen Powder with Vitamin C
1 teaspoon of thick, natural yogurt

Grate the carrots. Mix with the remaining ingredients, apply to face, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Carrot juice, carrot cake or raw root.It is worth remembering about carrots in your menu, no matter in what form and not only when you celebrate Carrot Day.
